A new opportunity has arisen to join the data-driven change maker team of Amart!

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager, located in our Amart National Store Support Centre located in Rochedale.

This is a first-rate opportunity to drive the Digital & Performance Marketing Strategy of Amart. Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for Digital Marketing Performance Metrics and KPIs, Digital Marketing Strategic planning, and Budget Management.

About the role:

This role is dynamic, and each day will be different as you work with a driven team who are passionate about growing the Amart brand online are passionate about all things Digital!

They also will work closely with our Media Agency and the HODT for the strategy and execution of all Digital Media Channels, in particular (but not limited to) Paid Search, Social Media, Affiliates, Programmatic & SEO across the Amart Brand.

Responsibilities and Metrics of Success include but are not limited to:

  • Digital Strategic Planning

Work with the Media Agency and HODT to develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive website traffic, and ultimately in-store and online sales.

  • Reporting & Metrics Ownership

Provide the business with a clear understanding of digital channel performance against KPIs, by product category and media channel, set in collaboration with the HODT.

  • SEO Strategy

Work with agencies to ensure SEO aligns with business objectives and improves organic search visibility.

  • Internal & External Stakeholder Management 

Ensure messaging consistency across channels and streamline processes by collaborating with Direct Marketing, eCommerce Buying, IT, Compliance internal teams, and digital media agencies & partners.

  • Analytics & Data Visualisation 

Utilise Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other data tools to provide meaningful business insights and automate reporting.

  • Budget Management

Maintain accuracy in budget tracking and ensure strategic allocation of spend across media channels.

  • Innovation & Testing

Proactively identify and implement new digital media opportunities, ensuring a strong testing culture.

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have at least 6 years + leading or managing a Digital or Performance function in a medium to large organisation.
  • Experienced operating in a fast-paced omni-channel environment across online and bricks and mortar.
  • Customer-centric approach to digital optimisation – demonstrable experience in using consumer and data insights.
  • The ability to operate in an ever-changing and fast-paced retail environment ensuring that multiple priorities are met whilst driving innovation.  
  • Demonstrable track record of managing and improving the online experience and sales conversions. High level of experience in developing, integrating, and operating various e-commerce platforms and systems, primarily salesforce.
  • A strong understanding of Digital Marketing including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, shopping platforms, marketplaces, and the strategy and tactics available.
  • Ability to draw insights make recommendations and implement changes to online store to maximise sales, conversion rate, average order value, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Retail experience will be highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need to be able to present to senior leadership as well as delegate to team members and various stakeholders.
  • A genuine collaborative approach to problem solving and the ability to effectively work with team members and stakeholders.
